Description

The Kanikonriio Advisor reports to and works under the direction and supervision of the Manager of the Kanikonriio (Good Mind) Child & Youth Programs, Six Nations of the Grand River Social Services, and the Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Council.

The Advisor provides a range of direct and indirect services to children and youth ages 0‑18 experiencing mental health and addiction related difficulties. Services include assessing and developing individual care plans, delivering pro‑social groups, creating programming that supports mental wellbeing and reduces the risk of suicide, providing coverage and response to crisis situations, and referring children, youth, and families to relevant programs and services.
