2026 Youth FireSmart Community Ambassador

Lead community outreach as a Youth FireSmart Ambassador from June 2026 with TteS. Promote wildfire awareness and implement safety strategies across Kamloops.
As part of your responsibilities as a Youth FireSmart Ambassador, you'll work under the guidance of the Youth FireSmart Coordinator to connect with the community through education and outreach initiatives. You'll engage in organizing events, hosting workshops, and promoting FireSmart messages. This role will also require you to implement small-scale projects and document your efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and facilitate FireSmart community events
• Educate youth and public on wildfire prevention
• Assist with FireSmart assessments and project implementations
• Maintain outreach records and assist in report preparation
• Manage social media for education and promotion
Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License (Class 5 or 7N)
