2026/2027, Fall & Winter Terms, Laboratory-Based Opportunities, Department of Chemistry – Faculty of Science

The Department of Chemistry is seeking Contract Academic Staff to teach the following laboratory(s) during the academic year. The instructor(s) will be responsible for in-person laboratory delivery including the preparation of all consumables, samples, solutions, and equipment as part of laboratory preparation/set‑up and clean‑up, laboratory safety, marking or supervision of laboratory markers, and coordination with the course instructor regarding the overall laboratory assessment. Qualified candidates must possess strong teaching, communication and organizational skills, and demonstrate evidence of teaching effectiveness.

Fall Term

Classes run from September 9 to December 11, 2026, with an exam period following.

Winter Term

Classes run from January 5 to April 9, 2027, with an exam period following.
