3Pl Claims Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized 3PL Claims Specialist who will investigate, evaluate, and resolve freight-related claims and ensure accuracy and timely settlements with carriers.
Key duties include managing claim documentation, coordinating with the logistics department, accounting, and carriers, and recovering financial losses.Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate, manage and track freight claims, which can include damages, shortage, temperature issues, loss, etc.Manage the entire claims process from intake to resolution.Gather documents like PODs, BOLs, invoices, and photos to support claims.Cross-functional CollaborationCommunicate with carriers, customers, and our internal team to resolve issues.Ensure the accuracy of customer data / claim filing and protect the company's financial interests.NegotiationReview carrier responses and negotiate settlements with carriers to recover losses or resolve billing discrepancies.Data and ReportingAnalyze claims data to identify...
