3PL Claims Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized 3PL Claims Specialist who will investigate, evaluate, and resolve freight-related claims and ensure accuracy and timely settlements with carriers. Key duties include managing claim documentation, coordinating with the logistics department, accounting, and carriers, and recovering financial losses.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, manage and track freight claims, which can include damages, shortage, temperature issues, loss, etc.
• Manage the entire claims process from intake to resolution.
• Gather documents like PODs, BOLs, invoices, and photos to support claims.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Communicate with carriers, customers, and our internal team to resolve issues.
• Ensure the accuracy of customer data / claim filing and protect the company’s financial interests.
