POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for safeguarding company employees, assets, property and customers’ freight while in the possession of FedEx Freight Canada (FFC). Reduce losses attributed to theft by proactive preventive measures. Investigate security related incidents, fraudulent shipments, and conduct audits to ensure ongoing compliance with security requirements. Provide training and awareness on workplace violence prevention and active threat awareness. Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional departments to ensure a thorough understanding of security policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Investigate all security incidents; suspected pilferage and theft of customer property or company assets, threats to employees, reports of violation, infringement, or non‑compliance with respect to corporate policies; and support FFC’s conformity to Canadian and international regulatory requirements.
