A1 - Archaeologist (Entry Level)

Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc (TteS) invites applications for the entry‑level Archaeologist (A1) to support the Knúcwmens le Sxwixwéytemc Archaeology Services Ltd. (KSAS) department. The position is seasonal and reports to the Field Crew Lead.

Purpose of Position

The purpose of this position is to assist KSAS with field operations, including conducting surveys, testing, monitoring, and data recovery in both lab and field settings, while adhering to TteS policies and bylaws.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform fieldwork such as pedestrian surveys, shovel testing, monitoring, and data recovery.
• Assist the supervisor in conducting surveys and data recovery.
• Participate in cultural resource management projects within the territory with outside firms as a representative of TteS.
