Account Manager – Food Ingredients (12-month contract)

Overview

Global functional food ingredients supplier is looking to fill an Account Manager position on a 12-month contract, based in the Montreal Area. Product lines include Enzymes, Acidulants, Leavening Agents, Preservatives, Sweeteners, Food-Grade Phosphates, Hydrocolloids, Humectants, etc. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading global functional food ingredients supplier. It's also an excellent income opportunity. Overnight travel should be very minimal.

Responsibilities

• For a 12-month period (due to maternity leave) manage and grow an existing account base in the Montreal area.
• Sell a broad range of functional food ingredients to the food, beverage, and nutraceutical manufacturing markets in the territory.
• Sell at both a commercial level and, when appropriate, a technical level to Food Scientists, Product Developers, and Purchasing personnel.
