Accounts Payable Clerk

Aston Carter's large client in Burnaby is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team! This individual will ensure efficient processing of vendor and employee payments, maintain strong vendor relationships, and contribute to the overall financial integrity and operational efficiency of the company. This position plays a key role in the financial period-end closing process by providing support in reconciliations of accounts.

Key Responsibilities

This role will be mainly involved with Accounts Payable (80%), and also assist with Accounts Receivable tasks (20%).

Full Cycle Accounts Payable Processing

• Review, verify, and accurately match vendor invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
• Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies, collaborating with purchasing and receiving departments
• Review, verify, and accurately process corporate credit card and employee expense reports
