Summary As an Acquisition Quality Assurance Service Center Director, you will guide centralized contracting officials and other members of the acquisition workforce in solving procurement problems and developing acquisition strategies. Location of position: FAS, Office of Centralized Acquisition Services, Office of Operations, Quality Assurance Service Center. Duty location to be determined upon selection. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed. Responsibilities Major duties include, but are not limited to the following: Serves as the principal procurement quality control advisor and consultant for the program office, ensuring acquisition management and staff remain apprised of and adhere to procurement policy and other guideline changes, including changes to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), GSA Acquisition Manual, and regulatory supplements as necessary.
