The Binghamton City School District is seeking candidates to fill the Administrative Assistant to Executive Director of HR & Operations position for the 2026–2027 school year, with an immediate effective start date of July 1, 2026.
This is a 12-month non-representative position, 8 hours per day/260 days per year.
Distinguishing Features of the Class: This is an administrative and public-facing position involving responsibility for conserving an administrator's time for planning, policymaking, and coordinating the activities of a major department or agency. The work involves independently handling correspondence and public contacts, collecting, analyzing, and processing information and data, and coordinating special assigned projects as directed. Work is performed in accordance with the policies and objectives outlined by the department head, with broad latitude to exercise independent judgment in applying policy to specific cases.
