Afternoon Shift Plant Operator at GFL

You will play a vital role in managing waste reception, conducting lab sampling, and operating machinery safely in an outdoor environment. Your ability to follow procedures and maintain safety standards will be essential. You will also assist with hazardous and non-hazardous waste operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and manage various types of waste for processing
• Conduct sampling for lab verification
• Operate and maintain machinery including forklifts
• Report any operational discrepancies immediately
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
Requirements:
• Background in waste management is an asset
• Certification in propane forklift operation preferred
• Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking
• Comfortable working outdoors
