Airfield Manager

Summary About the Position: This position serves as the Airfield Manager aligned under the USAREUR G-3 AVN with primary supervisory and management responsibility for the operation of assigned Army Heliports. Responsibilities Plans, coordinates, manages and executes day-to-day airfield functions to accomplish and ensure the most efficient and effective operation. Serves as principal staff advisor and liaison on airfield matters. Supervises, coordinates, and directs a workforce of military, civilian and contract personnel who are engaged in all airfield functions. Coordinates and schedules preventive and operational maintenance and surveys / evaluations of the airfield (grounds, structures, utilities, aircraft movement surfaces and facilities). Provides oversight of the Air Traffic Control Facility and NAVAID maintenance.
