Position: Regular Part-Time Professor – Municipal and Planning Law (Course CML3203) – Academic Term 2026 Fall, Section A00
Course: Seminar dealing with municipalities, the exercise of powers, municipal liabilities and obligations, prosecutions, challenges to municipal decisions, and land‑use planning. Emphasis on the application of theory to practice with guest lecturers, case studies, role‑playing, class participation, and a mock hearing or paper.
Responsibilities
Teach the course collaboratively following a predetermined curriculum and design.
Qualifications
- LL.B. or J.D. from a Canadian law school or equivalent.
- Membership in the Law Society of Ontario, or equivalent, in good standing (asset).
- Significant practical experience in alternative dispute resolution and written & oral advocacy.
- Prior teaching experience (asset).
- Interest in municipal and planning law.
