About the Role
Reporting to the Aquatic Centre Supervisor, the Instructor Tier II is an employee responsible for providing safe and fun advanced courses and swim abilities courses to all participants. They must do so in accordance with LSI and CAR standards.
Responsibilities
1. Instruction and Program Delivery (75%)
Plan, organize, and deliver programs in accordance with CAR and Lifesaving Society standards.
Demonstrate proper techniques effectively for participants of varying skill levels.
Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Evaluate participant performance and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a safe learning environment by enforcing facility rules, modeling professionalism, and ensuring proper use of equipment.
