The Assembly Engineering Manager at Aptiv leads technical teams to develop, implement, and optimize assembly processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and alignment with production objectives while managing resources, people, and technology to achieve productivity goals and manufacturing cost reduction.
Responsibilities
Participation in decision-making for Assembly Business Plans to achieve the plant's objectives.
Authorized to stop a process or product that poses a risk to employee safety, facilities, the product, or the customer.
Lead the fulfillment of delivery plans to Assembly and external customers.
Lead the headcount goals of the Assembly area versus what is approved by Plant Management.
Follow up on the correct execution of activities for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Operating System.
