The Role
The asset analyst has overall responsibility for the integrity of the information in the asset repositories.Specific responsibilities are:
- Reviewing and resolving all asset discrepancies or variances
- Correlating contract information with asset repository records
- Verifying the accuracy of asset information from other processes.
- Update asset records based on incidents/tasks/requirements received
- Attach the documentation and/or artifacts required at each stage of the process to the asset record
- Identify areas for process improvement and communicate them to the Asset Manager
