Position Summary

Assistant Department Manager, Produce at our Westsyde Save‑On‑Foods location in Kamloops, BC. The role requires open availability and a commitment to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the produce department team, acting as coach, mentor, and resource to team members.
• Foster a positive environment focused on Always Customer First service.
• Engage and retain team members through training, development, performance management, rewards/recognition, and the identification and development of future leaders.
• Communicate important messages with the team.
• Use knowledge of the community, competitive environment, and industry to develop entrepreneurial strategies that grow the business.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts.
