Your Opportunity:
The Patient Flow coordinator (PFC) is a centralized zone role in direct collaboration with the demand capacity services in all aspects of our health system 24/7. As an IOC PFC, you are responsible for collaborating with EMS Supervisors for promoting optimal patient flow by facilitating the effective management of patient transport and admission via EMS and with RAAPID North. Utilizing community and acute care resources, the IOC PFC will provide oversight to system flow and capacity in real time. This team will monitor capacity and flow and take steps to remediate the bottlenecks. The PFC and EMS Supervisors assign destinations based upon patient need, appropriateness, and system capacity.
