Assistant Manager, Facilities & Ground Maintenance
The Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) is a 116‑year‑old non‑profit organisation in BC that operates a 15‑day Summer Fair, Playland amusement park, and a portfolio of year‑round events. The PNE employs a facilities and maintenance team that keeps buildings, infrastructure, equipment, and outdoor spaces safe, functional, and event‑ready throughout the year.
About the Role
This permanent, full‑time position sits within the PNE Facilities & Maintenance team. As Assistant Manager, you will provide frontline leadership to maintenance staff, support preventative maintenance programmes, coordinate inspections and corrective actions, assist with contractor oversight and pest control, and help ensure strong communication, safety compliance, and operational follow‑through across the department.
