Assistant Manager, Radiation Oncology-Atlantic Health Hackettstown Medical Center-Full Time

Responsible for providing leadership, training and guidance to staff Radiation Therapists, supporting the manager, and support staff and performing complex and specialized radiation oncology work. Assists the manager in identifying problems, recommending solutions and assisting in the improvement of technical and patient service programs.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Responsibilities include oversight and delegated management duties related to daily operational, department productivity, patient safety, clinical effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
2. This position is also responsible for working in the clinic performing radiation treatment and patient simulation as necessary.
3. Assists in the supervision of patient care under the direction of the department manager through competent technical activities of self and staff. Demonstrates knowledge of treatment processes and all equipment.
