McGill University is seeking an innovative and results-driven leader to assume the role of Assistant Vice President, Innovation & Entrepreneurship (AVP). Reporting to the Vice-President, Research and Innovation, the AVP is responsible for advancing McGill University’s strategy in innovation, entrepreneurship, and research commercialization. They provide leadership for McGill’s innovation and commercialization ecosystem, organized around three core pillars: Technology Transfer and IP Management, Entrepreneurship and Venture Creation, and Strategic Partnerships and Knowledge Translation. In this role, the AVP leads McGill’s efforts towards technology transfer and commercialization activities, including intellectual property (IP) strategy, invention disclosure, patenting, and licensing and pathways to commercialization, including venture creation.
