This is an interview position.

Responsibilities

Perform duties related to processing of simple low value (LVS) shipments in accordance with Canadian Customs regulations and legislation, determining which of three generic harmonized codes can be used.

Process information for clearance of LVS shipments for customers who designate Federal Express as their broker and for those who do not. Transmit customs LVS entry information for clearance within service standard time frames. Perform data entry of information required for LVS or HVS clearance using data from commercial invoices or customer database and type into clearance system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• In the province of Quebec, must be bilingual (English and French).
• Good mathematical and computer aptitude preferred.
• Excel Basic knowledge.
