Associate Director, Recreation and Active Living

Purpose:

Reporting to the Executive Director of Athletics and Recreation (A&R), The Associate Director, Recreation and Active Wellbeing is part of the Athletics and Recreation's Senior Leadership Team. The role leads the conceptualization, planning, and implementation of all recreational activities across the Keele Campus, Markham Campus, and through collaboration with Glendon Campus. The role actively contributes to the strategic priorities of A&R. The role synergizes the campus Okanagan Charter, Well-being strategy, DEDI framework, the Academic Plan and other frameworks, towards the creation, delivery and renewal of a tri-campus recreation strategy. The role leverages existing structures, resources, and facilities to enhance overall campus engagement through collaboration with key campus partners.
