The Departments of Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto invite applications for a full-time tenure stream position in the area of the basic, structural and functional study of infectious agents and antimicrobial resistance. This will be a joint appointment between the Department of Biochemistry (51%) and the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology (49%). The appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, with an anticipated start date of 1 July 2026.

The successful candidate, upon formally accepting the offer of a full-time faculty position, may be nominated for a Canada Excellence Research Chair in Infectious Disease and Antimicrobial Resistance.
