Description
The Athletic Trainer provides on-site athletic event coverage including pre- and post-event requirements.
+ Maintains appropriate quantities of first aid/athletic training supplies required for each event.
+ Communicates with coaches, AD's, event coordinators, parents and athletes regarding injury management, prevention, and first aid recommendations.
+ Produce timely and accurate records and reports to supervisor.
+ Maintains established policies and procedures, quality assurance, safety, and infection control.
+ The Athletic Trainer must have effective oral and written communication skills;
+ have the ability to adapt to new procedures and techniques, and work under pressure.
+ Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
+ Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
