About the role


As an Automation Engineer, this role will be key in the adoption and implementation of new technologies to drive Carrier’s industrial automation efforts. You will work closely with Advanced Manufacturing Engineering teams across plants and business units to develop, implement, and standardize best practices in automation, directly impacting manufacturing efficiency and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • As an Automation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Implementing robotic systems and automated cells in assembly and coil shop areas.

  • Evaluating, selecting, and standardizing automation technologies such as vision systems, screwdriving systems, welding, brazing, and material handling solutions.

  • Developing proof of concept (PoC) initiatives for new automation applications and leading their implementation across business units.
