Automotive Service Technician for Fleet Vehicles

Valard Construction is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to support our Waasigan project in northwestern Ontario. This field role requires proactive maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles in a dynamic outdoor environment.

As part of the Transmission team, you will leverage your Journeyperson certification to address mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as JalTest and Ford IDS. Your documentation skills will ensure clear record-keeping, while working 20 days on-site and having 8 days off with provided accommodations.

Key Responsibilities: • Repair mechanical systems on project vehicles • Use diagnostic tools for accurate issue identification • Perform safety tests on repaired vehicles • Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs • Suggest additional repair needs to management
