Position Overview

Reporting to a Manager within Reinsurance Accounting, the Summer Student will support the North American Reinsurance Accounting Operations team with basic accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and process documentation activities. This role is intended as a learning opportunity for a student pursuing studies in accounting, finance, business, commerce, or a related field. The student will work under the guidance of experienced team members and will be assigned tasks with limited scope and appropriate supervision.

The role provides exposure to reinsurance accounting processes, quarterly close support, client data review, reporting support, and process improvement activities, with a focus on accuracy, organization, and timely completion.
