Bank Mobile Cancer Care Unit Driver (HGV Class 2)

Position Overview

West Suffolk Professionals (WSP) recruit and manage all temporary staff within the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking an experienced, qualified HGV Class 2 driver who will cover the Trust's Mobile Cancer Care Unit (MCCU) on occasional shifts as needed.

Eligibility requirement : You must hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence and Driver’s CPC.

Key Responsibilities

The Bank Mobile Cancer Care Unit Driver will be responsible for:

• Delivering the MCCU from West Suffolk Hospital to a daily community location and returning the vehicle at the end of the treatment day.
• Setting up and preparing the MCCU for service upon arrival and securing it when closing.
• Driving the support vehicle between the hospital and the MCCU as required.
