Job Details

This position seeks to provide prevention for youth and families by making early and timely connections for help so that issues do not reach crisis levels or become recurring crises. It also aids in alleviating the long‑term effects of traumatic events. The role works to improve the mental health status of children in our service area by linking them with the appropriate mental health services at Dayton Children’s Hospital and within the greater Dayton community. Staff conduct mental health and social needs screenings on all families, provide resource options, follow up, communicate outcomes with referral sources, and work with families to identify barriers to obtaining mental health treatment and social needs resources.
