Our federal government client is seeking the services of a
Bilingual Lead Negotiator, Collective Bargaining, to join their team. This is a 1-year remote contract with 2 optional periods. Travel to Calgary will be required on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Act as a resource and provide advice on the negotiation strategy.Conduct preparatory meetings for collective bargainingDetermine and coordinate the gathering and preparation of information required for negotiationsPrepare draft proposals and final proposalsLead and conduct negotiations, including preparing and recommending bargaining positions, responses and strategies, and drafting effective contract language.Participate in a debriefing session with management on completed negotiations.Qualifications:Experience acting as a chief employer negotiator in several rounds of collective b...
