Board Director Roles at Canadian Women & Sport

Canadian Women & Sport invites nominations for experienced leaders to join our volunteer Board of Directors. Four board positions are available for the upcoming term. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in finance, philanthropic initiatives, or non-profit leadership, particularly with grassroots experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Approve and oversee the strategic plan
• Ensure financial stewardship through budget approvals
• Provide governance and risk management oversight
• Hire and evaluate the CEO’s performance
• Represent Canadian Women & Sport to stakeholders
Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Reside and/or work primarily in Canada
• Finance or relevant strategic experience required
