Building Mechanical Technologist / CAD Designer

We are seeking a Building Mechanical Technologist to join our Atlantics Buildings Mechanical and Electrical team based out of Dartmouth, NS. This role supports the design and delivery of mechanical building systems for a diverse portfolio of projects, with a strong emphasis on federal, municipal, and public‑sector clients in the Atlantic Provinces.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings and BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related building systems
• Develop design documentation using Revit and AutoCAD, in accordance with company standards and client requirements
• Assist engineers with system layouts, equipment selection, calculations, and specifications
• Support designs that comply with federal and provincial standards, including National Building Code of Canada (NBCC), NECB, ASHRAE, CSA, and client‑specific federal guidelines
