(CAN) Meat Department Manager

Position Summary

To lead all Meat Associates and department processes to ensure a high level of customer service while meeting production targets.

What You’ll Do

• Receive merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately and monitor for repair, administer required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
• Maintain sales floor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing and pricing merchandise.
• Participate in the recruitment, selection, training and development of all Meat Associates.
• Lead by example greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner and assist by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions.
• Complete all aspects of the Meat Store Within A Store (SWAS) planning, attend SWAS meetings to review SWAS Reports for food products, orders and sales information, and ensu...
