Teach POL312H1 F: Canadian Foreign Policy at the University of Toronto. This in-person sessional lecturer role requires a PhD and university-level teaching experience.
The Dept of Political Science at the St. George campus is looking for a sessional lecturer for the fall semester from September 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. Candidates should have demonstrated teaching excellence and familiarity with Canadian foreign policy theories. Responsibilities include preparing syllabi, delivering lectures, grading assessments, and providing support to TAs and students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare course syllabus and marking scheme
• Plan and teach weekly lectures
• Grade assignments, tests, and exams
• Hold office hours for student counselling
• Supervise and train teaching assistants
