Join a renowned hospital in New York City for a 13-week locum tenens opportunity on the Cardiothoracic Surgery Stepdown Unit. This night shift role focuses on managing patients before and after surgery, offering a chance to work with a high-acuity team in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:3 weekday night shifts/week (Monday Friday, 6 PM 7:30 AM)
1 weekend per month
Hospital-based, working within the cardiothoracic surgery stepdown unit no ICU coverage required
Key Responsibilities:Manage post-op needs including chest tube and arterial line removal
Perform ABG sampling
Remove epicardial pacing wires
Obtain procedure consents
