Cardiology Technologist – Cardio Diagnostics Team

Employment Status: Temporary Full-time. Duration: October 2026. Hours of Work: Days, primarily weekdays. Weekend coverage may be required. Location: Humber River Health, Wilson Site. Labour Group: OPSEU 577. Reporting Relationship: Manager, Cardio-Diagnostic. Hourly Rate: $35.93 – $41.37.

Responsibilities

• Provides optimum quality non‑invasive diagnostic cardiac testing, including Cardiac Stress Testing, ECG, Holter set‑up and scanning, ambulatory blood pressure set‑up and reporting, and simple spirometry.
• Performs safe and relevant diagnostic examinations, testing, and adjustments with respect to cardiac implanted electronic devices (CIEDs) — this includes, but is not limited to, pacemakers, ICDs, and implantable loop recorders.
• Collaborates with physicians to address concerns/issues identified during device interrogation (e.g., troubleshooting).
