The Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute in Edmonton is a leading cardiovascular care facility. Cardiovascular perfusionists provide essential care during complex surgeries and operate specialized equipment to support heart and lung function for patients during surgery. We are seeking a skilled Clinical Perfusionist to manage cardiopulmonary bypass and advanced support modalities for patients of all ages, including extracorporeal life support (ECLS) and long‑term ventricular assist device (VAD) management.
Responsibilities
As a Cardiovascular Perfusionist I, you are responsible for the safe and efficient preparation for and management of cardiopulmonary bypass and related cardiopulmonary support modalities for adult, pediatric and infant patients.
