Job Description Summary

Under limited supervision, the Cardiovascular Technologist II assists physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease in an invasive procedure arena specializing in basic diagnostic catheterization and interventional procedures. This role functions as a resource to staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub duties and related procedures for left and right heart catheterizations and peripheral diagnostics or interventions with minimal assistance.
• Set up back table with necessary equipment, gown, and glove as required for procedures.
• Record cardiac interventions and hemodynamics accurately.
• Monitor procedure, document inventory used, and log events in MacLab® event log.
• Maintain ECG setup, rhythm monitoring, basic hemodynamic setup, and waveform monitoring.
• Assist in preparation of the room with fellow staff members for safe, effective patient care.
