Cash Application Specialist
Location: York Region, ON
Length of Assignment: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: $45,000-$50,000/year
Work Model: On-Site
Job Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily cash, credit and debit card transactions with the merchant bank and company records
- Post customer payments (online, EFT, cash, cheque) daily
- Reconcile bank accounts daily to ensure all items are accounted for
- Offset unapplied cash per collector's request
- Process small balance write-offs and non-sufficient cheques
- Handle petty cash and cash float reimbursement requests
- Ensure monthly, weekly and daily deadlines are met
- Balance entries posted in the ledger
- Interact with managers, collectors and other key stakeholders
