Cashier

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering establishments
• Oversee the store's front-end with respect to loss‑prevention
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
• Process / inspect merchandise returns and exchanges
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards
• Assist / listen to customer

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or equivalent preferred
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Multi‑tasking multiple customers & situations time to time
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
• Able to work well under pressure and busy customer atmosphere occasionally
• Experience with handling cash and cash register is preferred
• Ability to stand on feet for entire shift and lift boxes up to 50 lbs.
