CASUAL Indigenous Student Service Activity Planner (To Garner Applications)

Job Summary Under the direction of the Manager, Indigenous Initiatives and Inclusion, and with day‑to‑day supervision from the Community Campus Manager, the incumbent provides student and customer support services, as well as clerical support to those seeking services within the Aboriginal Resource Centre.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively to create a welcoming environment in the Aboriginal Resource Centre, performing reception services and assisting students in making appointments with Student Success Advisors or directing them to other services as required.

Assist Indigenous Education staff with Indigenous student applications.

Assist students as they adjust to college life.

Organize Indigenous student activities and provide support for event planning.

Support student orientation on campus and prepare orientation packages for new students if requested by orientation teams.
