KF Aerospace Defence Programs, located in Southport, Manitoba, provides dedicated Pilot Training to the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and its allies. Over 250 students per year attend the school to participate in Multi-Engine, Fixed, and Rotary Wing flying, from Ab-Initio through to advanced. This modern program utilizes state-of-the-art software, classroom, simulator, and aircraft to develop RCAF officers. The turnkey facility provides RCAF students with 5 simulators and 43 aircraft (4 fleets), accommodations, meals, and support services.

The Manager of Flying Operations (MFO) is responsible for all aspects of Phase 1 Primary Flying Training through to Phase 3 Multi-Engine or Helicopter training covered by the Contracted Flying Training and Support (CFTS) contract.
