Position Summary

This course follows and builds on the concepts from CH110 and prepares students for higher‑level studies in the various subdisciplines of chemistry as well as other university disciplines. Topics covered include properties of solutions, rates of chemical reactions, equilibria, entropy, free energy, and electrochemistry.

Master’s Degree

Qualifications – Required Discipline

Chemistry, Biochemistry or Cognate Discipline

Qualifications – Preferred or an Asset

  • PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Cognate Discipline
  • Master’s Degree plus PhD in progress and a Laurier University Teaching Certificate (or equivalent recognized teaching credential) and experience in the posted or substantially similar course
  • Master’s Degree plus M.Ed. and experience in the posted or substantially similar course
