Summary Of Duties

• Leads the coordination of activities across multiple areas to facilitate a smooth, integrated, and efficient workflow
• Works with the Manager, Supervisor, Medical/Scientific leads, QAO, and Technical Team, to actively promote and achieve the goals and objectives for Molecular Diagnostics (MD)
• Participates in establishing new policies, processes and procedures
• Cooperates with other lab divisions/individuals within and external to the hospital to achieve common objectives and maintain a positive image of the laboratory and hospital
• Oversees the technical activities/projects of MD, providing expert technical input
• Creates/reviews protocols for test validation and implementation in MD
• Works closely with the Medical, Scientific and Technical staff to evaluate new technologies, equipment and methodologies in MD
