Cheese Specialist

Choices Markets is a local grocer that’s been providing natural, organic and specialty products to communities across BC since 1990. We have ten stores in Metro Vancouver, The Fraser Valley and Okanagan.

Our Choices Production Kitchen and Bakery in Burnaby prepares the food available in the delis and bakeries at our stores and we are currently hiring a Cheese Specialist to oversee all aspects of cheese at our facility including: cutting, promotion, ordering, and fulfillment.

Responsibilities:

• Determine “cut schedules”, oversees and is involved in daily cheese cutting production;
• Oversee all aspects of product management including: ordering, pricing, sales planning, invoicing, receiving, inventory, recalls, quota submissions, food safety, etc.;
• Training, development, and supervision of cheese staff at kitchen;
• Taking the “lead” on cheese education of customers, kitchen and store staff; and
