The Chef Manager is a key member of the Support Services team, overseeing daily kitchen operations, food quality, safety, and staff performance for AgeCare Harmony Court. This role ensures exceptional meal service for residents, supports catering and special events, and maintains compliance with Aramark, AgeCare, and regulatory standards. The Chef Manager works with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and provides leadership coverage when the Support Services Manager is away.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead, schedule, and supervise the food service team; fill staffing gaps as needed.
- Oversee kitchen operations, food production and adherence to recipes, standards and safety protocols.
- Conduct weekly safety observations and daily cleanliness audits; initiate corrective action when required.
