Position Overview
Division Chief of Pediatric Pathology – Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), a site of the Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association Reference Laboratory (EORLA). The Chief will lead a team of three pediatric pathologists and a part‑time neuropathologist in a laboratory that processes about 4,500 surgical specimens and 100 autopsies annually. CHEO is a tertiary care teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Ottawa.
The role includes oversight of a specialized pediatric anatomical pathology laboratory that provides comprehensive diagnostic services to CHEO patients and serves as the primary resource supporting excellence in pediatric patient care throughout the 18 hospitals within the Champlain region.
