Description Sun West School Division invites applications for a permanent full-time Child and Youth Counsellor on the Student Services team, starting September 1, 2026. The successful applicant will be responsible to the Student Services Supervisor and will provide counselling services to students in Kyle Composite School, Kyle Colony School and Matador Colony School. Counsellors are compensated for travel between assigned schools. The schedule for counselling is determined in consultation with the school-based administrators and the Student Services Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Provide counselling on an individual or small group basis to students presenting with emotional, behavioural, personality or social problems which impede success at school.

Consult and collaborate with teachers to address classes on issues of social, emotional and behavioral wellness of students.
